The Swiss Fintech company Gira Financial Group AG (GFG) announces the establishment of the Senior Advisory Committee with three well-known financial experts. The members of the Advisory Board are Dr. Christian Katz, Dr. Sabina Korfmann-Bodenmann and Dr. Bernhard Madörin.

Dr. Christian Katz is a multiple board member and managing partner of MainStrait AG, a consulting firm specializing in the financial industry and technology. Prior to this, he was CEO for the Swiss stock exchange and a member of SIX’s management. At that time he was also President of the European FESE in Brussels, as well as vice president of the index company STOXX and vice president of the Structured Products Exchange SCOACH. He began his professional career in investment banking, where he worked in Zurich, Hong Kong and London, where he held senior management positions at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. He studied and promoted economics at the University of St. Gallen.

Dr. Sabina Korfmann-Bodenmann studied at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zurich and was promoted on “The CEO Change and Impact on the Company”. After a successful career in the banking sector, Korfmann founded the communications company Korfmann Corporate Communications Consulting AG (KCCC), which specializes exclusively in financial institutions in 2001. Today, KCCC serves leading international finance companies. Korfmann is a member of various boards of directors and trustees. According to the journal Bilanz, Korfmann is one of the 10 most important “thread-pullers in the Swiss economy.” She is the author of several books, her latest book “Living Heritage-Centuries in Business” was published in early 2017.

Dr. Bernhard Madörin studied law at the University of Basel and promoted tax law. He gained his first professional experience in the field of trusteeship as an employee and later partner of a trustee office and in 1998 he founded the “Treuhand Dr. iur. Bernhard Madörin »self-employed. Since 2000 Madörin has been a partner and a member of the Board of Directors of Artax Fide Consult AG. He has written numerous books; he is an executive body of various institutions, including the IWB Industrielle Werke Basel; he is a member of the Swiss Association for Tax Law, and from 1999 to 2006 he was a major councilor in the canton of Basel-Stadt.

Dr. Christian Katz, Dr. Sabina Korfmann-Bodenmann, and Dr. Bernhard Madörin have been working intensively on the topic of cryptcurrencies and blockchain for a long time.
