Following its debut on the largest NFT marketplace, the Lady Ape Club (LAC) has surpassed previously surging NFT projects. It has now overtaken TIME Magazine’s TIMEPieces on OpenSea’s top NFTs in the past 24 hours.
Despite being down by 18.61% over the last day, LAC currently sits at the 9th spot, with a 24-hour volume of 208.59 Ethereum (ETH). According to the numbers from OpenSea, LAC’s numbers pass TIMEPieces’ 24-hour volume of 174.74 ETH.
Behind LAC and TIMEPieces is the NFT collection produced by the collaboration between famed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and CLONE X — RTFKT. This collection has a 24-hour trading volume of 173.42 ETH.
Looking at the collection’s developments on OpenSea in the last seven days, the collection mainly saw positives. With a 7-day trading volume of 828.46 ETH, LAC sits ahead of goblintown.wtf and Azuki.
At press time, the floor price of the BAYC-inspired NFT collection is 1.33 ETH or more than $2020 at Ethereum’s current trading numbers. Of the 700 digital assets from the LAC collection, 143 have been sold.
Earlier this month, LAC initially launched on SRMNFT, StreamCoin’s NFT platform, where 9,000 Lady Apes were made available. According to reports, the collection on STRMNFT was sold out on July 18.
Besides the 9,000 and the 700 on STRMNFT and Opensea, respectively, 90 were up for auction, 100 were given to BAYC holders, another 100 were sent to partner influencers, and ten were kept by the project creators.
