6 Up and Coming Crypto Podcasts to Check Out

Being active in the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency requires a lot of initial learning. Staying up to date on all of the relevant details can be a bit overwhelming at times. The following podcasts, listed in alphabetical order, can offer a helping hand.

6. Bad Crypto Podcast

While the name may signal something else, this is by far one of the most novice user-friendly podcasts pertaining to blockchain and cryptocurrency. Hosted by Joel Comm and Travis Wright, both gentlemen tackle various topics, ranging from blockchain to ICOs and everything in between. While they may not be top-level experts on these matters, there is a lot of valuable information to be gained by tuning in.

5. Block Zero

The Block Zero podcast started out as a completely different venture. Even so, host Kevin Rose acknowledges there is a demand for information pertaining to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This show features key interviews with experts involved in top cryptocurrencies and digital assets. Despite the limited number of episodes available and the lengthy pauses in between, the podcast has a lot of potential.

4. Coin Mastery

Often recommended by cryptocurrency enthusiasts, Coin Mastery is mainly tailored to investors in cryptocurrencies, rather than those looking for technical information. There is also a recap of important news, although it is not necessarily the most novice-friendly podcast out there. It’s still worth checking out once one has gained a basic understanding of how cryptocurrencies work.

3. HashPower

Although HashPower was not the intended project by Patrick O’Shaughnessy, it turned into its own thing a little while ago. This is just a three-part series on the intricate workings of Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology. For anyone who has yet to dip their toes into either cryptocurrency or blockchain, this should do the job just fine. His main podcast, Invest Like the Best, provides general investment advice, which may also be of interest to some people.

2. The Third Web

One of the older podcasts worth keeping an eye on goes by the name of The Third Web. It primarily focuses on Ethereum and everything surrounding this particular ecosystem. That may limit its appeal, although a lot of information can, in theory, be useful for people exploring other cryptocurrencies as well. The show combines news, analysis, and interviews into one bite-sized package.

1. Unchained and Unconfirmed

While we had never heard of this podcast before, it is quite intriguing overall. Hosted by former Forbes Senior Editor Laura Shin, it covers industry news with expert commentaries to fill in the gaps. It is a great show for both novice and veteran cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts. With its weekly episodes, it is also one of the more “current” shows available today.
