FTX/Alameda carried out its regular monthly Solana (SOL) redemption and transfer five hours ago, redeeming 181,232 SOL, worth approximately $41.46 million, from staking.
These tokens were then distributed across 20 separate addresses.
Since November 2022, the FTX/Alameda staking address has redeemed and transferred a total of 4.262 million SOL, valued at $484.53 million, using a similar method. The average transfer price during this period stands at $113.6 per token. Despite these steady redemptions, the address still holds a substantial 6.616 million SOL in staking, worth an estimated $1.5 billion.

Based on their current rate of transferring roughly 170,000 SOL per month, it is estimated that FTX/Alameda could continue selling these tokens for another three years. Such consistent activity highlights the entity’s ongoing presence in the Solana ecosystem, even as the market evolves.
