Pump.fun Sets Records As SOL Transactions And Liquid Staking Tokens Surge

The token generation platform, Pump.fun, has reached an impressive milestone, creating a record 3 million tokens.

Since its launch, token creation has averaged seven new tokens per minute, underscoring the platform’s popularity and the relentless activity on Solana. Within just the past five days, Pump.fun’s transaction fee revenue surged, resulting in the transfer of 36,400 SOL (worth $6.75 million) to Kraken, though the sales are still lagging slightly behind their rapid transaction pace.

Pump.fun has accumulated a hefty 1.14 million SOL in fees, selling approximately 745,400 SOL so far, valued at $118.68 million, with an average price of $159.

Meanwhile, Solana’s own $SOL token has experienced a dramatic price surge, climbing to $191 in the last 24 hours. This rise has led to over $7 million in liquidated short positions, with the largest single liquidation topping $600,000 at a price of $191.22, signaling an intense response from traders anticipating a downward trend.

Total Market Cap For Solana Liquid Staking Tokens Hits All High

Additionally, the Total Market Cap for Solana Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) has hit an all-time high, reaching $5.67 billion. The leading tokens in this space by market share are JitoSOL with 42.9%, mSOL at 16.8%, and jupSOL with 12%, showcasing growing confidence and adoption in Solana’s liquid staking sector.

These trends—Pump.fun’s booming token creation, $SOL’s recent price surge, and the rising market cap of Solana LSTs—highlight Solana’s role as a major player in both token generation and decentralized finance. As these developments unfold, Solana appears to be attracting growing interest from creators, traders, and investors alike.
